03.08.22 — 23.10.22 | residency at the OUTVERT ART GALLERY in the westfjords of northwestern iceland in the beautiful town of ísafjörður. 3 months. surrounded by waterfalls, fjords, volcanos and landscapes, working on fundamentals and writing some new music. after tumultous years full of restlessness and noise, i am looking for silence, pause and natural beauty alike. the dark, rumbling and deep-toned humming of the icelandic mountains are really special to witness and hard to process. they tell the stories of the land mass — of all living beings and the planet alike.

03.08.22 — 23.10.22 | dreimonatige residency der OUTVERT ART GALLERY in den istländischen westfjorden im nordwesten des landes, im malerischen ort ísafjörður, umgeben von wasserfaellen, fjorden, vulkanen und einer außergewoehnlichen landschaft. arbeit an grundlagen und komposition neuer musik. nach aufregenden jahren voller rastlosigkeit und laerm war es zeit fuer stille, unterbrechung und natuerlicher schoenheit gleichermassen. das dunkle droehnen und tiefe summen der islaendischen berge sind etwas auessergewoehnliches und schwer zu verarbeiten. sie erzaehlen die geschichte einer landmasse, die von allen lebendigen organismen und dem planeten selbst handelt.
