14.05.22 | installation opening at theatre ingolstadt | conception, arrangement and composition for the multimedia-installation PHILEMON & BAUCIS. two greenhouses stand side by side: PHILEMON contains 56 plants and forest floor, hooked up to a specially designed modularsynth with medical equipment. currency changes on the leaf’s surfaces during photosynthetical phases can be measured and trigger oscillators and therefore sound. BAUCIS contains sand, gravel and plastic foil. dictaphones and contact mics culminate the space’s resonances into a dense sonic post-apocalyptic foreshadowing. | botanic work and arrangement by geli dendorf | invited by the futurological congress III at theatre ingolstadt

14.05.22 | vernissage am theater ingolstadt | komposition, arrangement und komposition für die multimedia-installation PHILEMON & BAUCIS. zwei gewächshäuser stehen sich gegenüber: PHILEMON besteht aus 56 pflanzen und waldboden, die mit einem eigens designeten modular-synthesizer durch medizinisches equipment verbunden sind. spannungsänderungen auf der blattoberfläche zwischen zwei photosynthese-phasen sind messbar und triggern einen oszillator und dann klang. BAUCIS beinhaltet sand, geröll und plastik. diktiergeräte und kontaktmikrofone kulminieren den resosanzraum zu einem dichten, klanglichen cluster post-apokalyptischer ahnung. | botanische arbeit und arrangement von geli dendorf
